NOTE:  Any team wishing to play in the National Tournaments MUST play in all AASA State Championship Tournaments.  District Qualifiers and State Tournaments.  Teams who earn Berths outside the State MUST also meet this requirement to be able to accept their Berth.
JO Tournament rules for Districts, States and Regionals in Alabama

Rules will be as written in the ASA Rule Book with the following additions:
1.  Teams MUST be ASA registered.

2.  Teams MUST have played in the District Tournament if offered to be eligible for the State Tournament.

3.  Teams MUST enter the State Tournament through their respective District Commissioner.  See Staff Page for
contact Information.

4.  Tournament format will be 3 game guarantee Bracket.  This is weather permitting. Alabama ASA has the right
to change the format if necessary.

5.  All games will be played on a hour and a half time limit.  No new inning will be started after time expires
except in case of a tie.  In tie cases the International Tie Breaker rule will go into effect after the inning has
been completed.

6.  Any team that has earned a berth to a National Tournament MUST have played in ALL State Championship   tournaments.  ie:  Districts & States.

In 2012 teams will need to complete a State Entry Form for ALL State Tournaments.  This form and the entry fee will need to be sent to your District Commissioner.

To enter a Regional or National Qualifier or a National Tournament you need to complete a National Entry Form and have it signed by an AASA Staff Member and forward it along with the entry fee to the Tournament Director of the particular tournament you are entering.
